Thomas takes first class care of you, he spends a huge amount of time with you at each consultation, is clear, caring and explains everything in great detail. He also appears to be held in high regard by all of his staff. He is very thorough, no question you ask him is deemed too trivial, he listens. He speaks to you and treats you as an equal, he is not condescending in any way. His clinics last a long time and often overrun but that is because he spends as much time as every patient needs. I have no doubt he saved my life when he removed a malignant tumour from my liver three years ago and believe I could not have been in better hands. This was a complex procedure as my tumour was adjacent to a major blood vessel. I consider him to be a great surgeon and a great carer and would not hesitate in recommending him to other patients.

Mr Satyadas is one of the most caring people I have ever met , and I am in no doubt that he saved my life. In April 2015 I had to undergo a Whipple operation. The operation lasted 10 hours. I was in Manchester Royal for 3 weeks and received the best treatment I could have wished for. Mr Satyadas came to see me every single day I was in hospital ( even on his days off ) He is a brilliant surgeon and a wonderful man. I am currently having treatment at the Christie Hospital for Neuroendocrine Tumours and see Mr Satyadas every 6 months and when I see him he always knows the results of my latest scans and of the treatment I am receiving. I cannot speak too highly of this man, he always gives 100%.

I had suffered groin pain for some time and as it was getting worse and finally I decided to go and see my G P, I was sent off for a scan and diagnosed with an inguinal hernia. I did some research looking for the best surgeon to do a repair and came up with Mr Thomas Satyadas as he appeared to be the best qualified and worked out of The BMI Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, Cheshire. I was most impressed from the very first interview as Mr Satyadas fully explained the problem and what was going to be necessary for a successful repair using a laparoscopic surgical procedure. He answered all of my questions in a friendly and concise manner and I found that I was actually looking forward to the surgery which was to be carried out towards the end of February 2015. On the morning of the operation I was concerned about the possible after effects of the anaesthetic having been diagnosed with some brain stem ischemia a few years previously. Both My Satyadas and his colleague Dr Ian Gall took time to explain various aspects of the surgery procedures and assured me that they would pay careful attention to closely monitoring brain activity together with other monitoring procedures, hardly surprising that I overheard a couple of the nurses talking about them as ‘The Dream Team’. Owing to my living alone I was allowed to stay in hospital overnight , the nurses and catering staff really looking after me so well. As I was ready for leaving the following morning, I was pleasantly surprised when Mr Satyadas arrived to give me a final check and see that all was in order before I left for home. I was given pain killing medicine to take for a week but in fact only needed it for one night, and after a few days was able for light gardening and plenty of walking. I owe my fast recovery and new pain free life to the professionalism and skills of Mr Satyadas and his team, a brilliant surgeon and a kind, caring and exceptional gentleman.

Mr Satyadas operated on me in June 2014. The operation was a major abdominal reconstruction to remove a tumour. The whole situation was explained fully and he was straight to the point covering all aspects of the operation the aftercare and any risks. Thomas is an amazing man and a brilliant surgeon. he is extremely compassionate and makes you feel totally confident in his first class care. He is very approachable and has time to put your mind at rest at all times. I was in hospital 10 days and Thomas never missed a day of visiting me which made me feel so much better. 4 weeks after my surgery it was my sons wedding, Thomas ensured that I would make that day and I did, he even rang on the day to make sure I was ok. Words cant really describe how wonderful he is , so friendly, caring whilst being totally professional and passionate about what he does. If you need a consultant for general surgery then this man should be top of your list. Fantastic, wonderful man Linda Makin Cheshire

I really don't know where to begin. Being a Londoner when Matt(our son)decided to move to Bolton and marry we were happy for him.Little did we know that this would be the best move of his(and our)lives. One day Matt went yellow and we thought it was gall stones. After a scan we were given the verdict, there was a tumor in the bile duct. We then had the extremely good fortune to come into conduct with the wounderfull Thomas. From day one this brilliant man became a family friend and saviour. His relaxed and friendly manner made us feel a little less worried,he was always straight and honest willing to answer any questions we had. He operated on our son,his absolute skill and knowledge undoubtedly saved our sons life. He is one of the most skilful, talented, compassionate men I have ever met. He IS our hero,a truly great man. To say thank you somehow isn't enough but ,thank you Thomas, thank you
